Joel

Joel R. Kimbrough joined The Barnett Group in January 2008. Kimbrough, a certified public accountant, was the chief financial officer for the Accredo Health Group before it was purchased by Medco Health Solutions, Inc. in 2005. As a partner in the firm, Mr. Kimbrough is responsible for the strategic alliance, development and marketing of the firm’s prescription and medical benefit programs.

Kimbrough serves as chair of the board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South and as a board member at the Regional Medical Center of Memphis (the MED). He also serves as the chairman of the board of Trust One Bank and on the boards of Aldagen, Inc. and Bostwick Labs, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of North Alabama where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting, before moving to Memphis and joining Ernst and Young in 1980.
