Ed Barnett

Ed Barnett founded Barnett Benefits in 1987 after a successful start to his career at International Harvester where he was a district sales manager. Now serving as president of The Barnett Group, Ed leads the company’s employees and oversees strategic planning, as well as day-to-day operations.

Ed is actively involved in the Memphis community, having served on the board of Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South, Methodist Healthcare Foundation and the MS Society. A member of the American Association of Life Underwriters, he maintains a commitment to continuing his education and knowledge in the industry. Ed is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and has received the prestigious award of Top of the Table for the organization. Additionally, Ed has received the Order of Excalibur award from AXA Advisors, the organization’s highest award, and is recognized in AXA Advisors Hall of Fame.

If Ed’s not in the office leading the team, he’s on the golf course, traveling, mowing the grass on his farm or cheering for his alma mater, Ole Miss.
